Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

January 14, 2021

GradWeek Travelers & Parents,

Happy New Year! It’s safe to say that we’re all looking forward to a better 2021!

In an effort to keep everyone informed on the latest information regarding GradWeek 2021 and COVID-19, we want to continue updating you on your GradWeek trip and destination.

We continue to see significant increases in air travel throughout the US, Mexico, and the Caribbean as resort destinations are open and welcoming tourists.  Airlines, hotels, and other travel partners have made adjustments in order to make travel safe, and people are traveling!

Given the current travel requirements at our destinations, the vaccine rollout, and the time between now and our program dates, we feel confident that all our programs will run as planned! We continue to work on your behalf to secure flights, hotel, and travel components for your trip. As new information becomes available regarding travel to your destination, we will continue to update you about your senior grad-trip.

Here is what is happening at our destinations:

Oahu, Hawaii

As of October 15th, Hawaii reopened its doors to tourists from the Mainland. The Hawaiian Government has lifted the 10-day quarantine for those individuals that obtain a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of travel. With the exception of night clubs, all GradWeek trip components are open and will be provided to our travelers.

Nassau, Bahamas

As of December 15th, all the major hotels in the Bahamas are open for business! Bahamas is currently requiring a negative COVID-19 test taken within 5 days prior to travel to avoid their 14-day quarantine. With the exception of night clubs, all GradWeek trip components are open and will be provided to our travelers.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

All Mexico resorts have been open since June 8th with no restrictions or pre-testing requirements.  Safety protocols and procedures have been in place for several months now and have proved to be extremely beneficial in controlling any outbreaks of COVID-19. With the exception of some night clubs, all venues and trip components are open and will be provided to our travelers.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

As of October 16th, Puerto Rico reopened its doors to tourists from the Mainland.
